If an item is unsuitable you may return to Floxyhair+in accordanc. However there are some exceptions and in accordance with the DSR act, “certain goods by reason of their nature cannot be returned”. Hair extensions fall into this category as they are a hygiene sensitive product however we will accept a return providing the following conditions are adhered to;
1. To return items for a refund or exchange you must email us first at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know of your intent to return. We reserve the right to refuse to sign for the package if you return an item without notifying us first and you will be responsible for all the losses arising from there on. All postage costs must be paid by the buyer for the return of items. If an exchange is required the buyer must pay all postage costs for the postage of the new item.
2. All exchanges/refunds must be posted back to us within 7 days of the delivery date to be eligible for a refund/exchange.
3. Please include the original invoice in the package when returning any item to ensure speedy processing of your return.
4. Any returns received after 7 days of the delivery date will be held for 30 days and you will be required to pay the postage costs to have the item/s returned back to you. After 30 days they will be destroyed. 5. If the value of the item you are returning is greater or less than the value of the item you want to exchange it for then you must pay the difference or the difference in the price will be refunded to you via your original method of payment.
6. All hair returned for a refund or exchange must be in the original packaging and unopened/unworn. If hair has been opened/worn/brushed/dyed/cut/altered or if it smells of smoke or other strong odours i.e, it is in un-saleable condition then an exchange/refund will not be accepted and the buyer will be responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) back to them.
7. Used condition and tampering includes but is not limited to, Hair Extensions that have; (1) Been cut, (2) Been coloured, dyed, or permed, (3) Had heat applied for the purposes of straightening or curling effect, (4) That have any damage inflicted as a result of tampering including traces of scents such as cigarette smoke or burning.,(5) Extensions that have been removed from the cardboard backing in the original packaging. While we appreciate any assurance they have not been used, these are hygienic goods and cannot be accepted back under such condition.
Under the rules of distance selling, hair extensions are considered ‘for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;’ We fully support and enforce this legislation when it comes to items removed from their packaging. If an item is determined to be used or tampered with, you will be notified via email within 7 days of its return. You will be granted the option to pay for its return to you. If you do not reply or refuse to make payment for its return to you, the item will be held for 30 days and then destroyed.
8. Our returns policy applies to all in-stock items and does not include and items which are custom ordered or made-to-order. Custom order items which CANNOT be returned include: custom made colour.
9. Refunds will be issued minus the p&p costs and a 10% re-stock fee. For items returned for exchange there will be no re-stock fee although you will be liable for the postage costs both to send the hair back to us and to have the replacement hair sent back to you. If we sent you an item in error then your payment will be refunded in full.
10. We advise all returns to be sent back to us via a recorded/trackable delivery method as we are not “responsible for any packages that are not received. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. If you choose to send back your return or exchange via unrecorded post, we will not be held liable for any delay or loss. This is in accordance with all Italian legislation.
11. If the return is due to an error made by Floxyhair+, postage costs will be refunded. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
12. We do not accept any responsibility for goods not returned to us. In addition, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within 7 working days following receipt of the item(s), as long as all goods are returned unused and unopened and are fit for re-sale, postage costs will not be refunded for this.
13. If you are returning your item from outside of the European Union your postal service will provide you with a customs form, which needs to be visible on your returned parcel. You MUST clearly write the following on the customs form: RETURNED ITEM NO DUTIES. If you fail to do this your item will be returned back to you before it reaches us.
